SW-Upgrade USB
Here at UMC/Sharp we will provide you, free of charge, software/firmware updates for as long they are available.... regardless of how old your TV is.
Most models of TV's can be updated over the air or over the internet. The first thing to do is go to the menu on your TV and navigate to the Software update section and check for updates.
On the rare occasion this is not possible, we are able to send software/firmware by email free of charge. All you will need to do is follow the instructions in the email and save the software to a USB stick.
In the event you are not able to access a computer or USB stick, we can send you a USB stick and pre-load the software onto it for you so that you can update your TV.
This USB stick is free of charge, however, we do charge £5 as a return deposit.
Once you have updated your TV, you can either keep the USB stick and we will not refund your £5 deposit or you can return it to us, with a copy of your receipt/invoice you will receive when you purchase this item and we will happily refund your £5.
We recommend you get a proof of postage from the post office as we are not responsible and will not refund your £5 deposit in the event we do not receive the USB stick back.
Please ensure you have your model number and serial number to hand as you will need to enter it at the checkout when buying this item
